La Huesera- Death Mask

 Natural Terra Cotta clay. Total time 3ish hours. 10.5x6.5x3.5 (roughly) life size piece.

Preparing for my part in the upcoming MFA Thesis Exhibition. I've got a 3 part exhibit I'm planning, with the death-masks being one part.  Taking my character and bringing her to "reality". Not going for hyper-realism here, but a feeling/ translation of the feel of my character if she would be "alive" in the real realm.

Character Design of myself

So, I'm going to try sitting in on a Character Design class with Andy Suriano . This is a hack at myself, which is the first assignment. I tried to go in a different direction than how I usually character myself for my webcomic. We'll see.

Finally! My webcomic is up and running once more! No more problems! A month has gone by...and I am still no where close to making it prettier...which was the cause of the crash.
